As specialist care providers since 1991, our experiences have reinforced our belief that, only by maximising effective communication skills can we, together, unlock the door to an individual's potential. This is of particular relevance to deaf people who have learning disabilities.

As for most people in the U.K. who are profoundly deaf, the natural first language of residents in our care is British Sign Language. By offering our B.S.L. signing environment we can enable our residents to integrate in an easier manner not only into the thriving local deaf community but also into the wider community in general.

All members of our staff team are able to communicate in sign language and hold a minimum of Stage 1 C.A.C.D.P. They also have relevant skills and experience in meeting the special needs of our residents. Our staff receive both internal and external training and development.
